As I'm writing this, nature is calling (but I'm putting her on hold for this quick posting), my boy will be wailing any time soon for his milk (but right now he's blissfully -- and thankfully -- asleep in his Titta's arms), and the rest of my life is like some cabinet that badly needs some re-organisation.
I'm into Day 38 of my post-natal life and, oh boy, what a difference it is from my pre-natal days. But "different" has its good, too...and that's what this blog will be partly about.
Like Derek Walcott's forever-loved poem, Star, as above, I do hope that my life will continue to shine with some degree of brightness even in the darkest hours. That some star will be found to be shining from gajillion miles away, "like the moon left on all night among the leaves, may you invisibly delight this house." Thus, that explains the carefully-chosen name of this blog!
I hope that I don't sound like some bleak, manic-depressive wife-mother-daughter-employee-sister. Most of the time, I see the glass half-full, although my significant other says that I can be a tad too serious (despite my love for coining funny words, sayang?).
About my significant other, zane...will you introduce yourself? I'm making you part of this project of mine, too, you know...it was your idea!!! (I think I just contradicted myself there...go figure!)
It's our blog, honey, so we can write whatever we want and bore the entire internet-surfing population. You can write about your art. I can write about Musa. You can write about your garden. I can write about going back to work...la di da...
Anyway, nature has been put on hold for too long, my boy is just about to scream for his milk...and my life, unfortunately, still needs that spring clean!
